About Sangeeta
Sangeeta is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who has a strong focus on ensuring women feel heard and are actively involved in decisions about their health, while also practicing evidence-based medicine.
Sangeeta graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2012 and completed her specialist training in various hospitals in Victoria, including Frankston Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women and The Royal Women’s Hospital. During her training, Sangeeta has managed low and high risk pregnancies, as well as a range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, endometriosis, cervical dysplasia and subfertility.
Sangeeta currently holds public appointments at Frankston Hospital and Sandringham Hospital. She is passionate about teaching and training junior doctors and medical students. She is also a RANZCOG training supervisor at Frankston Hospital.
Sangeeta is also able to consult in Tamil and Hindi if preferred. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and cycling.
