After the excitement of finding out you are pregnant it is common to naturally think about the health of your unborn baby. There are a number of tests we can do to check the baby's health.
Do you suffer from heavy or painful periods, or pelvic pain? You may have Adenomyosis.

Adenomyosis is a medical condition where the uterine lining (Endometrium), that comes out as menstruation, is also found growing inside the muscle part of the uterus (Myometrium).
Unfortunately, having trouble falling pregnant is common; one in six couples are not pregnant after 12 months of trying. If you are having difficulty conceiving, it is important to make an appointment to see your GP for a check-up. You will most likely then be referred to a fertility specialist for further advice.
